There are few GREAT handlers. There are many average handlers and there are some poor handlers. But, that's the way it is in all things. The "few" have the gift of presenting their dog to it's very best advantage. The few have the ability to know what that advantage is, and to whom that dog should be presented to in the ring. Often one of the great handlers will exibit a dog in such a way that when shown by any one else, they do not appear as good as the did with the great handler. There are only a few "great" handlers in our breed and I'm sure, any breed. Exceptional is just that...exceptional. Some of the "greats" may have personalities not liked or appreciated by the average exhibitor...but due to their consumate skills, handle the best dogs anyway. The bottom line however, is that a superior dog will win with or without one of the "greats."
