WOW.........What rude people!!!! Huge congrats on your first Champion!!! It is
your choice whether or not if you want to show your girl the next day and move
her up. Nobody else....just you. And as for your handler taking their
side....he or she needs to be gone and you need a new handler.....so sorry that
these mean rude people ruined your happy day!!!

Hi All,
I am a newbie to the list and breeding and showing GSD's.
Can someone please help me. You all are so experienced and well informed
that I feel comfortable asking for help.
This past weekend I finished my first champion.
I was blissful until I went back to the show site the next day. The
champion, Tina, I felt had worked her heart out, so I had decided to leave
her at home for a rest.
When I arrived at the show, people did not congratulate me, but attacked me
and insisted that I move my little Tina up that day and that I had to do it
because that was protocol.
Then my handler was challenged and it was insisted that he convince me to
do the same.
Showing is my passion, and I was so overcome with fear and stress, that a
gal who was showing her Standard Poodle, came to my rescue. I left the show
site and did not show any of my dogs. I am so concerned now that I violated
AKC rules. Did I?
Most of the folks who challenged us have never supported me or my dogs, so
I was extremely hurt and amazed.
What should I do?
