5 Frogs are sitting on a log floating down the river...
4 Frogs decide to jump in...
How many Frogs are left on the log??
 
The answer is 5.   Deciding is not doing.   It's a thought, not an action. 
 
It's often not so easy to choose to be part of the solution.

Over the past several weeks/months I have seen many heated exchanges.  Some 
healthy, productive debates...some not so much.  I have witnessed some down 
right ignorance and nastiness.  I have contemplated signing off the List.  I 
work an often stressful job, travel every weekend to shows, on top of actually 
having a life outside of dogs.  So, who needs all this negativity all the time? 
  I made several conscious decisions over the past few years that I feel have 
changed my life for the better. I surround myself with people and activities 
that add value and meaning to my life.   Sometimes this List does that, but 
sadly often it does not.   However, then I started thinking to myself - If I 
get off the List and then more folks like me do...then what happens?    So, I 
made another conscious decision to push through and at least give it some more 
time.   I choose to try to be part of the solution, not just be miserable 
within the problem. 

As I read Donna's post, I was filled with mixed emotions.  I empathize with her 
frustration because quite frankly sometimes people just plain ol' suck.   But 
most people are good and that's what gets all of us through each day and to the 
next dog show to see our friends...or back on the List to have interaction with 
each other...right?     So, I hope Donna does not get off the List as we need 
people like her here.
