Every since I heard of this I have been wondering if they thought that the
Oregon club was hosting the Fut this year.The Fut has rotated between the 3
major clubs here in the PNW. The Oregon Club has hosted the Fut Mat on Memorial
Day for year and years. We have never changed the weekend. If we are hosting it
it always takes place on Memorial day which this year was the 28Th of May and
would have been beyond the time limits. I think that this is happened. If they
realized that they were within the time limits then I am sure they would have
made other plans.
I have a question for the group. If we cause enough grief with the AKC and
they decide to not let the Parent club hold a national, then do the regional
clubs loose the right to host regional specialty shows? The Regional clubs only
exist through the parent club. This is a question not a statement.
