Another lovely deal and for a week, under $1000 q day, what was the club
not thinking to have refused? But, I must say, as compared to facilities
farther north, even the $9800 is a decent price for the facility. It would
cost at least 50% more in other regions of the country for the same place.
What would the potential entry be in that area of the country? Maybe a
south/eastern area national candidate?

hall of Fame for their dog show for $6800 but Purina deal is tons better
huh!? The other club was nuts and thought it was too much...could have

$9800 for the entire week Sunday to Sunday?!? That's a darned STEAL for
the quality facilities we are getting ALL TO OURSELVES. hundreds of acres
all to ourselves for under 10K! For those of you who haven't hosted shows
before. Almost 10 years ago it was $250-500 per day to rent a small county
fairgrounds with a pole building or two or a pavilion on it and open
ground! Plus pay for camping and not full hook-ups just electric...
Purina is 20 times the place for very little money if one thinks about it
for a moment- indoor and outdoor facilities for much cheaper than, say the
centennial site was and surely others when a comparison is made.
Not looking yet, I remember getting all 3 years for around $20K. I thought
that was a great price. Especially that were not sharing grounds this year,
I understand the increase above the contracted rate. But if we get the
whole place this year, why do we need the extra security then? I'm still
having a hard time understanding why we need extra security from ourselves
and no one else but the Purina employees at night... I just seem to always
have slept well with GSDs at my bedside!

GSDCA website and is $9,800 total rental fee for the week of the National.

Wonder why we will need "security" for a "small fee" this year at
