1. In the HOSPITAL sounds so serious but it wasn't!
I had cellulitis (an infection under the skin) on my arm and, because
of the immunosuppressive drugs I'm taking for rheumatoid arthritis,
the dr put me on IV antibiotics to be given every 12 hours. I couldn't
do it outpatient because I had to be "monitored" while on the drug.
Long story short, I'm felt great but had to be in the hospital. I had
my Ipad, phone, Kindle and books and lolled around. It was sort of a
mini vacation with bad food...
2. Since our two litters were born just a few days apart, I'm trying
to come up with a safe way to mark them so I can tell who's who. The
collars I usually use won't work because they have to be loose enough
so they'll slip off. A long time ago I used nail polish but it made
the pups sneeze and had such a strong odor, I'd rather come up with
something else.
Any suggestions out there?

a long time. Not because he reached the top of his chosen field, but

He did not agree with the war in Vietnam, and refused to go. It sure
wasn't because he was afraid to fight, but because he believed in
something. It
took the United States Supreme Court to say he was right, and that is
another organization I respect, or at least accept.
I knew Ed was a great fan of Cassius Clay. I was too. Maybe for
different reasons, but like the fight game, in German shepherds you have to
believe
in some standards and stick with it.
Cassius and I were born the same year. I will never come close to the
impact on the world he made, but I hope to breed another good dog or
two,(we
have 14 at the house now, less than two weeks old). I may have set my
sights
lower, but in the world of dogs, I hope it means something.
We all need to strive to believe in something, stand up for our standards,
and accept that life is limited and we need to try to make the most of it.
And Golden State won.
Tedi should be released from the hospital today, (she can deal with the
puppies), and I am almost done in the office. I just heard she is being
released, so I am headed home.
All is good.
