SFCC Members:
We have a May 2012 meeting coming up on May 16th. at 10am.
The good news is we are having FREE FOOD for Lunch.
SUBs and sodas.
Do not tell anyone it is an SFCC SECRET! smile
But, what we really would like to know is what topics would you like
to have discussed?
Therefore, pls email Chuck [ chuck@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ] with your
topics or questions.
We plan to take those topics or questions and make a presentation
that BUZZ will lead,
with the help of the MAC Team Leader - Jim Windes and his staff and
the PC folks.
Thus, we will be supporting both MAC and PC topics of interest.
The team will also field questions for the IDevices (IPOD, IPHONE,
IPAD) to fill out the spectrum.
So, take a moment and email what you would like to hear about.
Next -
For a general SPRING Cleaning - topic, BUZZ will update us on the
suggested PC and MAC software
to use to clean our systems.
It may be summer and the snowbirds may have left, but we are still
trying to share information to the 260 members
of the SFCC as we have done in the past - both those in Tucson and
those away from us.
If you cannot attend, you can still have your questions/topics
answered by emailing them to Chuck.
Tech Report:
In summary, all 6 computers are working OK.
System 9, the one in the corner recently required attention and is
being worked on.
All 4 printers are working.
The scanner is working.
The website is serving.
The email server and ftp server is working.
Our CD SERVER is operational but still being developed.
On May 5th, the room is having a floor cleaning.
Harry Singland recently took some time to tie up the wires to bring
them up off the floor for the cleaning.

Margaret O'Connell recently offer to help order paper for the
computer room - thank you Margaret.
That take a load off the TECH TEAM and Officers.
WE need a new VICE PRESIDENT!
