Dear Youders, "In" Generation Young Enterprise Learning Competition The "In" Generation - Special IT Community Employment Project ("In" Project) is going to hold an entrepreneur challenge in Hong Kong Computer and Communications Festival (HKCCF) this summer. Targeted to those aged between 15 and 25, this competition aims to promote the entrepreneurship among teenagers in Hong Kong. SEYSA received invitation to send a team to this competition. I would like to invite Youders who are interested in starting up business to seize this exceptional opportunity. "In" Project is one of the schemes funded by the Community Investment and Inclusion Fund (CIIF) of Labour and Welfare Bureau since 2009. This scheme aims to provide employment opportunities for drop-out youths, strengthening confidence and self-efficacy of youth as well as enhance their abilities for proactive contribution to the society and achieve the effect of self-reliance. To promote community participation, mutual assistance, support and social inclusion, there will be teams formed by other NGOs and the NEET (Not currently engaged in Employment, Education or Training) in this competition. Date: 24 - 27 August, 2012 Venue: Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre Expected team size: 5 - 10 persons This is a competition with actual products. Participants may retain the profits generated from the sales activities. There will be guided support from organizers and suppliers in lending products, sales and assisting in logistics issues. Through this exciting and educational event, participants are expected to learn skills in division of labour, techniques in business negotiation, logistics management, setting up business model and launching marketing campaigns.
