[sextante-users] Filter database

Hello,
I develop some geoprocessing algorithms and would like to make a smart
inventory that facilitates processing building and administration, building
a postgres database for example.
Does SEXTANTE use a database to catalog and manage algorithms (in order to
build a pipeline for example)? If so, is there a standard for cataloging
this type of stuf (algorithm, filter...)? Maybe a relational model already
exists?
