Folks... As always, this is just another "urban legend" that is NOT true! It has been circulating around the internet (unsubstantiated) for YEARS As soon as I receive ANY "internet warning," I always go to www.snopes.com to check on its validity before I EVER "forward it to all my friends." In this case, I plugged the keywords, "cell phone explod" into SNOPES, and, in a few seconds, came up with the following explanation: http://www.snopes.com/horrors/techno/cellcharge.asp PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE... always check the validity of ANY internet "warning" before wasting everyone's time (and clogging up an already-slow internet). Besides, think about it, do you SERIOUSLY think "forwarding emails" is the BEST way to warn people about such a (supposed) danger? Don't you think, if this warning WERE real, it would be plastered all over the EVENING NEWS???? <file://C:\Documents and Settings\Jer\Application Data\Microsoft\Stationery\..\..\..\Desktop\Animated signature (Jerry).gif> Jerry Taylor SeniorTech http://www.seniortech.us <http://www.seniortech.us/> Personalized In-Home Computer Instruction for Senior Citizens and Retirees 585-964-3319 "Computers are not just for kids" -----Original Message----- From: GmoffettLtTouch@xxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, March 20, 2008 8:14 PM To: SeniorTech@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [SeniorTech] Fwd: FW: FW: Cell phone - WOW!
