From what Ive seen so far sticky toffee pudding wins against cheese &
biscuits so Ill tell The Moat we wont bother with the cheese option youll
see on the attached menu
.decisions like this are about as dangerous as my
life gets these days!
Some have asked about timings so weve arranged to meet at 7.00pm & sit down
at approx. 7.30pm. The pub is open until 11.00pm but they wont be upset if
we hang around until midnight.
I think that covers it for now but feel free to shout out on here if you
have any questions.

the menu so please have a look through & let me know what you would like &
if you have any special dietary needs.
Rather than fill the egroup with stuff that wont interest many it might be

I will then reply so you know Ive seen it & Ill send you my bank details
for payment, also asap please. If you dont see my reply within 24 hours you
can call me on 07931 371983 to double check.
Im a bit reluctant to post my personal bank details on the group as weve
had a couple of iffy requests for membership over the years. I dont think
we have any issues on that front but Im sure you can understand my caution.
Lastly, if nobody wants the cheese & biscuits @ £5.00 extra per head I can
substitute it for sticky toffee pudding at no extra cost, but if people do
want the cheese we can leave it on there
cant offer both though.
For those who havent joined us before dont panic if you cant remember
your choices on the night as my lovely assistant (Carrie) will do place
setting for everyone with your name on the front & choices on the back!
Shout out on here if you have any questions, I look forward to seeing your

Hi all
Its taken a while but we did promise we would sort another belated
Christmas dinner & many of you (well over 20) expressed an interest.
So, we have a plan that I hope you will like & with luck the date & venue
will work for many of you.
At this stage all Im asking for is a rapid yes or no from you, if we have
the numbers we need Ill get it booked but need to sort it within the next
couple of days.
The planned venue is The Moat at Wrotham on Saturday 25th March.
Paul, Lesley, Carrie & I have been there a couple of times over the last few
weeks to give it a try & its been very nice. We also felt the location
worked well considering the people in our group are spread over quite a
large area.
The proposed menu is attached, the cost would be £35.00 per head which
includes a glass of Prosecco on arrival
Ill have a chat to sort something
non alcoholic for those who prefer.
You may recall we had to close the club bank account which had just over
£200.00 in it. I spoke to Paul & a couple of others at the time & arranged
for the cash to be transferred to me so I will use this cash to put a good
few bottles of wine/beer on the table for us to enjoy. Obviously this means
a bit of a saving on drink for us all.
At this stage I dont need to know menu choices, all I want to know is if
you plan to join us?
If we get the numbers we need (20 or more) Ill get it booked & sort the
finer details over the coming days/weeks.
We really hope this is of interest, its been a while since we had a good
knees up & well do all we can to ensure its a great night.
Please can you confirm asap so I can advise the venue?
