I wish I could say the same for the Kameyaay campground and Sycamore Canyon.
If Dave sounds frustrated, we both are. The new ranger in charge of Sycamore
Canyon left and a "new new" ranger is in charge. At Mission Trails there is
new leadership at the Mission Trails Foundation and within the ranger group.
They are not coordinating among themselves, and we are trying to get along
with the confusion because of the importance of good relations in support of
our monthly meetings there. (Please don’t put this in the minutes.)
I will be at Caltech for a science meeting on the 10th but will forward a
report on the latest at MTRP before the meeting.
September program meeting speaker will be Curt Kinghorn on amateur radio
astronomy.
