Troop 17-Journalism Merit Badge

Hi Folks, I just wanted to update you on your scout's progress with
Journalism Merit Badge.  Tonight, we toured the Times News operation which
was very interesting.  This completed requirement 2.a.2. in the workbook.
Also, tonight completes the classroom sessions for this merit badge and the
scouts have been instructed on how to complete the remaining requirements on
their own.  These requirements for most boys are: 2.a.1., 3, 4, 5.  Please
support your scouts in completing this merit badge.  If the choose to
complete the remaining requirements during the next week, Brent Lancaster
will be at the scout hut next Tuesday to check off any and all work done.
After that, they will need to turn it into Hal or myself to send to Brent.
