Sorry folks - this is getting out later than I had intended, but I hope that
you find that it is worth the wait. Please forward this to any leaders that I
may have missed or any Webelos Leaders.

Items of note:

  * This year no registrations will be taken without the registration fee. In
the past, we had to turn away folks that wanted to take a particular badge only
to find that the ones that had signed up did not show up or pay. If a boy is
serious about wanting to take a class, then we need the registration fee to
cover our expenses.

  * Registration fee this year has increased to $5 / Scout - but we will have
an event patch this year.

  * Extra patches will be available for sale. (1 for $3 or 2 for $5) Any
patches not sold or presented to the MB College Staff will be destroyed after
the event.

  * Aviation is a late developing offering. We do not have the details yet,
but we are working with the Civil Air Patrol to get some hands on plane time.
Stay tuned... Did not want to hold everything up for this. Will send out a
notice when we get things finalized.

  * We have the Readyman Activity Pin for the Webelos this year!

We are looking for folks to join the Alamance District Advancement Committee.
This is a great opportunity for parents to help out without having to commit to
camping, etc.

Also we need to get our merit badge counselor list updated. If your troop uses
someone to teach a merit badge, please get them registered. (Please consider
marking the "Willing to work with Merit Badge College" box)

Thank you for all that you do for Scouting,
