Hi Troop 17,
 
Thank you for those who have collected/donated food for Scouting for Food.  
About 160 lbs of food has already been dropped off at Loaves and Fishes with 
only 5 scouts having participated.  That is a lot of food from just 5 scouts !!
 
I encourage each of you to bring a bag full of non-perishable foods for this 
worthy cause.  Many people are going through the toughest times they have ever 
encountered in their lifetime.  
 
This participation is one of three activities that will earn the "service 
ribbon"  for the BSA 2010 100th Anniversary Patch.
