Subject: Scout service project
Dear Scout Parents,
Our next service project is to serve dinner at the Homeless Shelter on
December 2 at 7:30pm. There is a huge need in our community, as they have
been feeding approximately 100 people each meal. We need 5-6 scouts to help
prepare and serve the meal. We will meet at First Presbyterian Church at
6:00 to prepare the meal, and then serve the meal at 7:30 at the shelter.
We need two things:
1. Scouts to help prepare and serve the dinner( 5-6 scouts).
2. Each scout to help pay for this meal ($5.00).
I will be at the Scout hut on Tuesday with Shannon to help with pickup of
popcorn and take contributions for the meal. If you have any questions,
please feel free to call me at 266-5365.
