[sbe104_toledo] Tower dropped

This was the old WJAN TV 17 (Analog) Canton OH tower, on Rt 62 near Rt
44..About 500 ft self supporter..

 

With the change for HD the site was not used and the company couldn't find a
buyer, so they crunched it!

 

Note the GE TY46P helical antenna.   That antenna dates back to the mid 50s.
The tower is a Truscon, which was made in the Youngstown area for years till
the company finally went out of business with larger/taller towers.
