I volunteer to be the point of contact for the INLC and to handle setting
up events if the board wants to follow up on this.

preserving dark skies. We can combine this by having a party in conjunction
with them on one of their more urban properties, such as at the easement
they secured for Riverside state park or similar. It gives them a chance to
show the benefits of conserved, wild areas near urban areas, and us a
chance to show why the dark skies near urban areas need to be preserved.
An outreach partnership with INLC could be very cool and also prove very
beneficial for astronomy long term in the area.

Yes we would be interested. We tend to have our dark sky star Parties out
at the Fishtrap there is parking out at the trail head. But if you have
land that you would perfer to have a star party at I am sure we could work
with you. I am forwarding this to our board, so they know what is going on.
