It occurs to me it might be fun to have an email account that forwards
questions from the general public (moderated) to the list.
I'm going to create aaa@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx that forwards to
sas@xxxxxxxxxxxxx. I will have to approve each message, of course, but Nick
could put the address on the club's web page. Then anyone in the group can
field it, and I'll redirect the answer back to the author.
The reason for the convoluted approach is both to moderate the questions AND to
prevent a potential spam cascade from responses to aaa being redistributed back
to the list--an awesome infinite loop of messages which would no doubt irritate
everyone.
