Neither filing was late or past due this year.
With the state, we could pay an addition $40 to file by paper or $60 to
file on line with the WA State Sec. of State Charities division, however
with receipts under $50k, no paid officers, and a couple other factors we
have no obligation to do so. If we professionally solicited donations we
should pay this fee. I actually called and talked to them to make sure we
are compliant with charity registration after completing a draft report
including the following financials for 2017 based on bank records with
whole dollar accounting:
Income of $2,150
Expenses of $1,928
Change in Assets + $222 (Bank difference 1/1/2017 to 12/31/2017)
EOY Assets $3,532 (WA Trust CD + Checking on 12/31/2017)
I'm going to subtract the $10 pd from cash collected from the May meeting
which I'll deposit later today or tomorrow.
