When I checked the Kp index it was barely a 5 which what it needs to be to see
it here in Spokane. When I woke this morning it.
was a 3.3.

About 20 people of all ages.
I had the club's 12" reflector out and used it to great effect and had the
pleasure of observing with its builder, Mr. Don Horton. Mars and Saturn were
center stage, along with the summer showpieces.
I'll probably write more later, for now here's a few pics. An aurora peeked out
about 2am...not nearly as impressive as last month...but still very cool.
