Hello All-
I just moved to Spokane about a month ago. I have been a member of the Tacoma
and Seattle Astronomical Societies off and on for about 15 years. Do you have
an suggestions on where to observe that is within 1-2 hours of town? Preferably
someplace that I can setup a tent? I was looking to go to Palouse Falls or
Steptoe Butte this weekend, but overnight camping looks sparse. I went to
Faragut (sp?) Park in ID a few weeks back, but they close that park at dusk. I
plan on joining SAS soon, so I will have to join you all at Fishtrap Lake
sometime.

I think most folks will be out of town or busy on the 2nd, so let's shoot for
the 9th. There's also the Palouse Astro Society Star Party on the 9th. I'll
likely be going to Fishtrap that weekend - maybe we can get John to bring out
the grill, hint hint :)
