Your skies were definately cleaner than ours.  We also observed a dimmer arc
paralleling the brighter one to the east for a short time.  No idea what that
was. .. cool though. Glad you got to see it all and the smoke didn't interfere.

Great shots! Yeah that arc freaked me out...couldn't figure out what it was.
