There was never a change really discussed. I asked a generic question, not specific to the upcoming meeting. Eric gave an anecdotal example of what has happened in the past, and I was satisfied with the empirical examples he gave and I dropped the issue. As far as I know, it is still as Eric has said. In practice, the SARC avoids holding a meeting on a holiday weekend, but the Board will consider making that practice a formal decision, possibly including it in the Bylaws. 73, Eric Lemmon WB6FLY -----Original Message----- From: sarcmembers-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:sarcmembers-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of george bernard Sent: Monday, September 07, 2009 10:05 AM To: john maetta Subject: [sarcmembers] Re: Holiday Weekends eric, did anything get resolved about august meetings? my replies did not go thru the reflector, apparently i am being screened again. regards, george bernard santa barbara, ca cell 818-370-9407 > From: wb6fly@xxxxxxxxxxx > To: sarcmembers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [sarcmembers] Holiday Weekends > Date: Wed, 26 Aug 2009 18:43:18 -0700 > > Several years ago, we held a SARC meeting on a three-day weekend, and only > four people showed up.
