Last nights update on Dan - his nurse said that he is making slow and steady
progress. They are trying to ween him from the sedation in hopes of taking him
off of the ventilator in a couple of days! This is going to be a slow process
with everything he has been through. He is responding to commands. Good news!

Dans embolism was removed successfully!Cindy spoke with Lindsay the heart
surgeon’s PA. She said he has taken 2 steps forward-he is only on 1 presser,
his vitals are where they want them to be and his CO2 levels have gone up! The
reason they removed the heart pump is because they felt it was doing more harm
than good! Now the pulmonologist takes over to remove the ventilator.

Jim, we are so sad to hear this. We can't even imagine the pain you are all
going through. We are praying for him, the doctors, his wife, his kids, you and
stephanie, and all his other friends and family.

Dan is not doing well, his heart has stopped twice and he now has fluid on his
lungs. He has been put into a medical coma to keep his blood pressure from
spiking. This is so difficult to think that Cindy is the only person who can
be at the Hospital from 8 AM to 8 PM. So his three sons and brothers and
sisters cannot be there with her or to see him. I wish I could be there for my
life long friend, and tell him to be strong and to fight.
He needs Big Time prayers for our Lord to take care of him, so please take a
moment to say an extra special prayer tonight for Dan and his family and for
the Doctors to figure this out.
I have faith that the Lord has Dan is His hands, and He will take care of him.
Thanks,
Jim Glover
