Morning all and Happy New year,
My activities have been heavily influenced by my purchase of a historic
cottage at 6 Napoleon St Battery Point Hobart. I settle on 24th of Jan and
for the moment will furnish it simply. Am going back to Hobart 22nd to
30th. It's so quaint and beautifully located. No 6 is one of 4 conjoined
"Mr Watson's Cottages" built in 1858 (with convict bricks) to house workers
at the nearby shipyards. Needless to say I've been researching Mr Watson
and what I can find about the history. I won't be moving permanently until
my mother passes away. "Mates rates" apply for anyone wishing a short stay
until about June when Richard will spend a lot of time there. I'll be
coming and going. Photos available if you Google the address. I'm very
happy. I'll be at the Writing Group when I'm in Sydney.

Christmas and New Year are past and I hope everyone is safe and well.
Those in the fire areas, is there anything we can do for you?
Ailsa, did your cousin make it for Christmas lunch?
Barry, have a great time house sitting and don't forget to check which
groups the Society has reciprocal rights with. This goes for anyone
travelling, here in Australia.
Heather, how was your English Christmas? Did it snow?
The Magill's had a good Christmas and have delayed our drive to Melbourne
until later this week.
My excitement, I won a 4-Day Pass to RootsTech, this year!
What has everyone been doing?
Bye for now, Lilian
