AJTen Thousand beyond is a long way down the road, it has taken me over 13 years to get 5000 observations. What I am trying for is 1000 galaxies in Virgo. I have 756 so far.

Whoops, I missed Jack's message. Actually I haven't been interested in completing a 1000 list but encourage all to consider. Jack your time will come and it will be much more rewarding. Don't give up the quest! So far 3 SAC members have completed this daunting assignment. They are Steve Coe, 1993; Joe Goss 2005 and David Hofland -whose date is invalid on my list. David can you give me month and year for the award? I have something like 20/09, meaning 20th month of 2009. Rumor has it that Joe Goss is attempting a second 10000 Beyond.
