Guys,
I don't want to lean on Charlie as he's up to his teeth in taxes. Does
anyone have any experience with GnuCash software?
Charlie was nice enough to send me the electronic data initially given to
David (e.g. membership database, balance sheet in a format compatible with
GnuCash, etc.) and I'm trying to make heads or tails of it.
My biggest downfall here is that I'm not an accountant and don't know how to
think like one. As with most things in life, it can't be that hard.I just
can't put the logic together in my head at this point. Anyone willing or
able to talk me through some of this "double entry accounting?"
Any help is greatly appreciated!!
