Hello... I still have not received any notice that there is a newsletter... Will I ever be added to the distribution?... I'm not angry as I know there have been numerous issues getting the letter back to normal, just frustrated. I have asked many times to be added back to the distro. Thanks, Marshall (msd60@xxxxxxx) -----Original Message----- From: sac-board-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:sac-board-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Jack Jones Sent: Saturday, March 16, 2002 6:44 PM To: SAC Board Subject: [sac-board] Newsletter Congrats and Corrections Thanks and congratulations for putting out another newsletter Rick, and hope all the computer problems have been worked out now. Along with congratulations of course come the inevitable corrections that need to be made. Hope you can get these in by next time (assuming yours and the Board's concurrence): 1. The directions to the observing sites need to be updated and rewritten. You can rewrite these or I can give you some good rewrites if you want. The Flatiron one makes no sense as the instructions have gotten out of order, and the AZ City one talks about 'driving over a fence'. The Flatiron map needs the mile markers updated too. 2. The minutes need to be amended for the MM date listed as April 18, should be April 13. 3. The Messier Marathon write-up listed M101 as a possible morning object, it should be M110. (...M39, M31, M32, and M110...) I've already sent a correction to the SEDS list, but just know that it's there if this write-up is to be used again. 4. Bits & Pieces used to be called Bits & Pisces. (Get it?) I don't know who changed it but they have no sense of humor. 5. On the last page, it shows March 2001 in the upper right corner. 6. The Fuzzy Spot for Monoceros has a star chart for Leo, I don't know if there's anything you can do about it now. Should we send out hard copies that way or can it be fixed?
