Personally, I wouldn't have an issue with this, but if I recall, we had had
discussions about this at a past board meeting and kind of, sorta decided
that we didn't want commercial vendors. That being said I think if we do
allow this, we probably need to draw up some guidelines. Another
consideration is how much more work are AJ & Jack willing to take on? Bear
in mind that for some of the larger organized star parties, planning for the
next years event begins after the last car leaves this years event.
I think if we do allow this we should at least ask for a set up charge from
the vendor, from the simple standpoint of that they would profit from our
event at no cost to them. Consider: All they do is show up, sell T Shirts
they got for $10.00 for $20.00 and we've done all the advertising for them.
Whether it 's flat fee or a cut of the take, I feel we should get something
for allowing commercial sales at the event.

Ultimately the decision rests with the board, and I'm sure they'll make an
educated decision, just thought I'd throw My 4.14143 Hungarian Forints
worth.

HEy Aj, et al,

I would say no problem, as long as they have their own insurance coverage.

This sound fair? Does anyone have any things to think about this?
