Hi Jack-
FYI, construction at Yavapai has been delayed until after
labor day, so the GCSP will be held at our usual location. I've heard
rumors that many of our SAC attendees will be going North Rim this year.
Have you heard of any SAC people coming for the full week? Should I be
reserving a campsite for SAC? Thanks in advance.
Also, could you add a couple lines to your newsletter to the SAC
membership? I've gotten lots of cards and notes from folks regarding my
recent heart surgery. An update - After valve replacement on 17 March,
I've been home for 3 weeks now, and am now allowed to drive on my own
(14 April). So I am not as dependent on others. I'm still on IV anti-
biotics and will be thru the end of April. Hopefully some of the other
meds can be stopped as well. I'm doing fine physically, though still
limited to lifting only 5 pounds, so no big telescopes yet! I'm of course
planning to be at the Grand Canyon on June 12-19, though not sure if I'll
be able to handle my C-14 by then. If any SAC folks will be attending this
year, be sure to contact me if you have not already done so at

and hope to make it to a meeting one of these months.
