Try "Rugby Building Products" at 602-252-3696. They're located at 4703 W.
Brill which is 47th ave and McDowell. I just bought the formica for the
"Twin Points mirror lab" workbenches from them. They are wholesalers, which
translates into less $$, but you may be stuck with having to buy a larger
piece. Fortunately for you, I will be needing a piece for an 8" dob I'm
building, so I'd be happy to go halves with you. I think the brand name of
formice you are looking for is "Ebony Star".
