Yes, and I brought up the problem about May 24. Jack posted a message
having the May meeting on the 24th or 31st. When the final messages were
posted, the 24th had been chosen but there hadn't been any reason given
for choosing it.
Most of the discussion was focused on two topics, the beginning of the
year and Rick's birthday (BTW - Happy Birthday Rick).

This not a problem. I did the club's calendar for 6 or 7 years as the
newsletter editor. Mid-week full moons just a flexibility to the schedule
(as do holidays).
