And you did help Bob, thanks for the suggestion. What would the cost be for
doing it the way you suggested,
and is this a simple enough thing that it wouldn't put strain on you over
time?

If I understand correctly, Paul wants out of the SACtreasurer email he set
up, and Telrad went further by suggesting that all the board gets a
specific, transferable email account. Bob then made what I heard as an
offer to set this up and help for what little maintainence it might utilize.

I believe that this satisfies all parties; Paul gets out of the email
address, and the board members have their own position-specific email addy.

As far as "changing the passwords", it would be easy....the outgoing officer
could give the incoming one the old password, which then gets changed at
some convenient time, no need to be at the same computer...it's not national
security after all. Yes, there me be some overlap, but we will probably
always have more than just that one address for any person if it comes to
that. As such, I don't see this as a major problem. Also, if it's not
putting Bob out, then we could set up for other posts, like newsletter,
novice group, public relations, etc. I also like the fact that generic
emails would be on the site, and not our personal ones. No biggie though.

As far as putting it on the agenda for April, is there any reason we can't
hammer this out online right now? It'd be one less thing to do then. Are
there any other factors to consider (other than funding) before the board
accepts or declines? I'd like to call for a vote on this as soon as Bob
gives us some numbers unless there's a specific or otherwise compelling
reason we can't.....

Sorry if I've skipped a few steps, I'm new at this and I don't know any
better....;-)
Thad
