Pete,

I would like to see a newly designed card in the materials you mention and
would like to see the card Joe brings. Can you use Rick's card as "appropriate
input"?

Jack

Peter,

I have for the past several years made business cards for board members &
Committee chairmen. I created them in MS Publisher. I think they look pretty
good ;). What would you need from me to have them printed professionally?

As to the 2007 content on the website, perhaps this is either an old
complaint or the person is viewing a cached page in their browser. To fix
the latter they would either need to refresh that page, adjust the
configuration of their browser to do this for them automatically or delete
their temporary internet files. I've checked using Opera, Firefox and IE 7
on two computers and I see 2008 data.

I will be unable to attend the meeting on Friday. I will pass along the
January SACnews newsletters for distribution to Joe. I still have an unpaid
receipt for this issue. Is the new treasurer using the SAC treasurer email
address yet?

I will also have Joe bring a sample business card to the meeting. It is a
card I designed and had printed for EVAC. I don't know how we are set for
cards, but I'd be willing to design one for SAC, given appropriate input.
The sample card is printed 4/1 (4 colors on front, 1 on back) on a nice 14
pt stock with UV coating on the color side. The expense is ~ $35 to $40 for
1,000 cards.

Steve,

Can we add agenda item to decide disposition of old projection eqpt (sell or
donate) and final decision on disposal of old lights and signs and any other
junk laying around.

Also nail down who is responsible for updating website and post the contact
and backup to website. I've had a query and a complaint that 2007 calendar
and
2007 dates still on there.

Steve, I'd like to put the Messier Marathon on the agenda. With a new board
I'd like to discuss some of the details so as not to catch anyone by
surprise - if possible.

Clear skies,
aj
