Okay Okay! I'm sending her an invitation. I know for other NASA people
like astronauts for instance, you have to secure an unrestricted flight from
Houston, you have to return them in one piece within 48 hours, and you must
pay their lodging. However, they can't accept an honorarium. Think to
others you'd like to hear a talk from just in case Ms. Porco can't:-)

Oh, almost forgot. I'd rather avoid the charging $ for a SAC member to see a
SAC lecture even if it was Led Zep.

Almost had her convinced once even! But I'm thinking of a new idea of a
fatter honorarium and the offer to pick her up and drive her back to
Flagstaff i.e., one club picks her up, another club drives her home.

I think she'd be flying in from Colorado. Round trip: ~ $350-500??
How 'bout asking for $5 - 10.00 donation at the door? I'd donate $20.
Times ~60 people, that should cover the plane fare and the speaker fee.
But that would set a precedent. We'd have to think hard about that...

I can recall two other times we flew someone in, Rich Jaikel and I think
the oard authorized $200.00, and Don MAacholz. Not Sure what that one
cost. Any one?
I presume that if can land Ms Proco, she'd be coming from Pasadena, with
enough advance notice we should be able to secure a pretty good fare.=20
