Some publications require a phone no. Also does the Club have any access to copying eqpt to print some flyers and also some Club Info sheets? Jack Announcement: Please join us for the 34th Annual Public Star Party at Thunderbird Conservation Park in Glendale on Saturday, May 7, 2011. The event will be hosted by Glendale Parks and Recreation. Members of the Saguaro Astronomy Club will have telescopes large and small set up and available for public viewing from 7 pm to 10 pm. They will show a variety of astronomical objects including the Moon, Planets, Stars and Deep Sky Wonders. Members will be glad to answer question you may have about the heavens and Astronomy in general. Please join us for a night under the stars! Directions: To get to Thunderbird Park in Glendale, take Loop 101 to 67th Ave and go north 1.6 miles to Patrick Lane (just past Mountain Ridge High School). Turn right at the entrance to the park at the stoplight at Patrick Lane. Signs will be posted in the park to direct you to the observing site.
