Paul and others,

There is a little gotcha with this type of index entry which quite often goes un-noticed. It relates to the nickname of Danny.

In short, there is no evidence that he was ever known as Danny KOLAROVSKI.

The long version - the notice definitely says he was known as Danny RISTEVSKI, so that is not an issue.

But given he is male, the issue of a second surname is not clearcut. We only know RISTEVSKI is the current surname, which makes KOLAROVSKI a surname used in the past - sometime, somewhere.

One possibility is that he changed his name on arrival in Australia - left his native country as Dragi KOLAROVSKI, and arrived here as Dragi RISTEVSKI, for whatever reason. Then, Aussies being Aussies, he was nicknamed Danny. But we will never know the truth.

So allocating nicknames to aliases is not always correct, and is best avoided unless the reason is blindingly obvious. In this case it isn't.

Hi Everyone

Can you look at the attached snips and advise me if I have indexed it correctly, or is there another interpretation?

Cheers
