I've just had a telephone call from Bruce Oelman who in turn has just been
rung by the HLF.
We have been successful in our second attempt to get funding to move the
Frimley Green cycle workshop to the museum!
We haven't yet received written confirmation with the details but
congratulations to all those involved who believed in the importance of the
project to see it through two applications and numerous other hiccups along
the way.
Norman Emblow has had an often uphill struggle to get the quotes we needed
but it has all been worthwhile in the end.
Doubtless there will be further problems as the project progresses but at
least we now know we have the strongest backing for the project which will
finally see a village garage at the Rural Life Centre.
