I think you already have the details of the presentation that Geoff Lunn will
be giving in the Village Hall on Thursday 21 April 2016. Starting 7-30pm
Weis Rogalski has also agreed to present an evening which I hope will be in
September 2016. I will let you have the date as soon as I can arrange it with
him.

Yes, it's that time of year already.
I would like to cordially invite you all to the 2016 Rural Life Centre diary
planning meeting which will be held in our village hall on Wednesday 14th
October starting at 8pm.
2015 has been an interesting year: There has been much change at the museum,
the weather has been fairly kind to us and our visitor numbers, so far, have
increased slightly.
Now we must plan the event calendar that will see that number continue to
rise with a mix of old favourite and some new events hopefully.
I hope that you can all come along to tell us of your exciting plans for
2016, either for one-off events or longer temporary exhibitions, or just
find out about what is going on how you can get involved to help the
organisers.
If you can't make it that evening don't worry but make sure you let me have
the preferred dates for your event in 2016 well before the meeting to avoid
any double-booking or other conflicts.
As usual we will attempt to get the first run of our 2016 Diary leaflet out
by mid November so that we can circulate the many families that come to the
Christmas Craft Fair and Santa Specials.
So long as I get basic details by the end of October that should be fine but
it is important that you let me have full information as soon as possible so
that we can plan an effective publicity campaign for the year ahead.
Many thanks for all you have done for us this year and I look forward to
seeing you all on 14th October and hear your ideas for 2016.
