Very sorry, Jackie, but I'm afraid, as Chairman of the Godalming/Mayen
Association, we are entertaining 35 German visitors from 28th July until 4th
August and they will be having a formal lunch on Sunday,31st July.
I do hope the sun shines and that all will go well.
Best regards,
Liz

Hello Rustics!
Although the other jobs I have already mentioned in the Wednesday
Meetings are still important, a couple of others have become of
significant importance!
These are:
P.A. Announcer - to use the radio microphone from time to time to
announce attractions. Because it is infrequent and the mic. connects
wirelessly, it doesn't tie you down but needs good timekeeping!
"Hook-a-duck" stall: Peter Kaufman Kent is kindly bringing two of his
very old fairground attractions (Kids Swing Boats & Hook A Duck
sideshow) to us from Amberley Museum. However, he can only provide one
person (for the Swing Boats) so we need someone to (wo)man the
Hook-A-Duck stall, or more people to take shifts at it throughout the day.
Obviously a lot of you are already making a very significant
contribution to Rustic Sunday, for which we thank you a lot, but maybe
someone can assist with the above two tasks on the day?
Please let me know ASAP, since we are trying to deal with the loose ends
right now!
All the best,
Jackie
