Good morning, Resistors!
Our focus will be on Congress passing a resolution in opposition to Trump's
power grab/temper tantrum/national emergency. Please call the Senators
specifically listed on the sheet, and then begin the 10-Senators-A-Day routine
that we used to oppose funding for the wall.
Tomorrow's rally is going to be very special. We are going to start at our
normal corner doing our usual thing. Please bring signs! Then we will hear from
some special speakers, including Congresswoman Deb Haaland!!!!! After the
speeches and chants, we'll march to Civic Plaza with Representative Haaland.
She's going to lead our march!
The weather looks positively awful tomorrow, but it is so important to show the
people of Albuquerque our outrage and to encourage others so speak up about
this crisis. Having our Congresswoman leading the march is truly special.
However, safety first! Staying home, out of the cold and snow, off the slick
roads, and making phone calls is a great way to spend a snowy day!
