Good morning, Resisters! I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving holiday and
are all rested and ready to continue our resistance. We will resume our weekly
activities tomorrow and will focus on the border fiasco and using teargas
against migrants seeking asylum. We're working on that call sheet and will have
that out soon.
In the meantime, if you are itching to make a few calls, why not reach out to
Rep. Trey Gowdy and ask if he is going to hold any hearings on Ivanka's use of
personal email accounts for official business. After all, Rep. Gowdy was very
concerned about this and made his career by going after Hilary ... and he
recently admitted that Ivanka's usage was problematic. His number is
202-225-6030. He still has a month to get begin an investigation!
You can all call Rep. Elijah Cummings, the ranking Dem chair, who will
presumably be the new chair of the House Committee on Oversight and Government
Reform in January. His number is 202-225-4741. We worked really hard to flip
seats in the House to give the Dems the power to fully investigate the Trump
administration and to hold them accountable for their corruption and
ineptitude. We want hearings into dear Ivanka's email use to begin in January.
