Our dear friend, Karen, put together the call sheet this week. There's SO much
going on right now! The House needs to get it together and hold this
administration accountable. Looks like nice weather tomorrow, so I hope to see
your smiling faces on the corner with me!
Announcements:
1. Our Listserve has been acting wonky lately with some people not getting the
emails. I've done everything I can think of and simply cannot find the problem.
We are going to enact Plan B. We have set up a new email account for our group:
resistabq@xxxxxxxxx. We will send our announcements from this new email account
and phase out the Listserve. Please accept emails from resistabq@xxxxxxxxx and
add us to your contacts. If not, you'll be left in the dark!
2. We are going to continue meeting on the corner of 4th & Gold every Tuesday
at noon until that buffoon is gone. Our numbers have dwindled to 10 at times,
but we feel this is important for a number of reasons. It recharges our
batteries, for one. It's important for those students to see democracy in
action. It's important to remind people that what's going on in Washington is
NOT OK! Many other reasons!
3. Our party planned for this Saturday, May 11th is being postponed for a
number of reasons. We are looking at a few dates in June, so stay tuned!
