Richard,

The old lantern slide projectors that used ~3x4 slides had lenses
that were totally inadequate compared to the fantastic lenses
used on the better Rollei und Leica projectors.  And the H'blad
projection lenses are just as good or better than the Leitz or
Rollei 6x6 projection lenses.
