Does the scanner scan a paper document? If not, perhaps it's busted...

If the solution is not the ones already suggested, it might be the film type.
Not all scanners will scan Kodachrome.

Hi,
I know I have asked this before, but this is driving me nuts. I put my MF film
in the MF film holder. Scan it with the Epson 4990. It comes out black (or
dark). Can anyone suggest anything?
I am only scanning with Epson scan but at the moment I am only interested in
getting an image, not with the quality.

Thanks,
gram.
