I visited the /rollei lens factory in Brownsweg in the
1970s or 1980s. There was a rope on the floor. On one side
was Rollei and on the other side it was called Zeiss. Same
place, really. ed
Reminds me of a tour I had of the AT&T long lines (long
distance) department here just after the Bell System break
up, there were lines painted on the floor in yellow paint to
separate AT&T areas from Pacific Bell areas, desks pushed
against communicating doors, etc. People in the two divided
companies did not speak to each other.
