Obvious reasons, patently clear, Richard. Kodak
ONLY markets XTOL in a grossly unwieldy 5 liter
size. They quit marketing the much more
convenient 1 liter size years back. Shame on
them! Effectively, this means that we have to
buy 2 gallon buckets to mix the stuff and then
find five l liter glass bottles to store
it. And, for a small-batch processor, that is
enough developer to last us a year, so we end up tossing at least 3 liters.
