My boss back in the mid-80's used to travel with an Igloo cooler ( white/blue plastic) in which he stored his Hasselblad 500CM with two magazines & meter. Never a problem with thieves or temperature! I prefer the older rigid box-type case for Rollei TLR. Soft sided large insulated coolers work well too, esp. for the bulkier gear. It's a very personal subject.

The idea of finding something as inconspicous as a army surplus bags still plagues my idle thoughts. YIKES!I use a Falklands-era Royal Engineers bag for my 2.8GX. Works like a charm and I wish I had a dozen of 'em. I use a gym bag for my Hasselblad 2000FC/M.I have yet to be accused of being a new Unibomber but, then, I also carry about with me multiple ID's establishing my military connection should I ever be stopped.Marc msmall@xxxxxxxxxxxx Cha robh bàs fir gun ghràs fir! --- Rollei List - Post to rollei_list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx- Subscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org- Unsubscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org- Online, searchable archives are available at //www.freelists.org/archives/rollei_list
