[rollei_list] Whats wrong with the Rolleiflex light meters?

Hi!
I have had a thing for the Rolleiflex SLRs since I was a kid. So when I
became
able to buy, I have bought SL35, 35M, 35ME and 35E (2 of them) over time.
But one thing remains fairly constant. None of these camera bodies have a
working lightmeters. I almost always bought from eBay in USA or UK or
Germany.
Any ideas if these bodies always have had a problem? On the the other hand
the TLRs of Rollei I have never faced such problems.
Another ancillary question.
I live in the SF Bay Area, CA. So if any of you know of a good reliable
Rolleiflex
repairman I'd really appreciate it. Kamera Corner or Keeble and Schuchaat is
no
help.
